I began DJing back in the early 90s after watching and listening to DJs at some now legendary night spots in the local area such as Christopher's American and its re-birth as Legends in Wall Heath back in 1991. From here I continued to haul my vinyl collection to everywhere from school discos to family parties.
Pretty much as soon as I could, I began to DJ at various pub nights and bars and then on to what are now probably some of the most memorable clubs locally including 42nd Street in Halesowen (later rebranded as Club XS) and Club Millennium at the Waterfront Merry Hill.
Later I began a 10 year residency at The Picture House in Stourbridge - every Saturday night in the main club. If you are from Stourbridge you may also remember me at Bogarts in Norton - A great little bar that was next to Mary Stevens Park.
These are just a few of my former residencies. I have also played at many other clubs and bars over the years both here and abroad including DY5 and Atreides at the Waterfront, Merry Hill. Racquet's in Redditch and the Queens Night Club before it became the Millennium.
From 1996 till around 1999 I held a nightly residency at Tramps in the heart of Playa De Las Americas, Tenerife. Even today It is still regarded by many as the best club on the island, with regular Radio 1 events and headline DJs.
From Tenerife I then headed to Ibiza where I began another 3 year residency at Shooters Bar in San Antonio Bay. Whilst in Spain I also tried my hand at radio, presenting regular shows on both English speaking stations WAVES 102.2 fm and OASIS fm.
Today I am a proud father of my beautiful twin girls. I'm also a software consultant by day... and by night I continue to DJ at events in and around the West Midlands.
Maybe I will see you at your next special event!
